Reformer Pilates

About Reformer Pilates

Step into a more focused, more powerful Pilates practice. Our 1-1 Reformer sessions take place in a private studio in Shawlands, giving you the space and attention to move with purpose, build real strength, and feel the difference from your very first session.

Shahana will guide you through every movement, adapting each session to your body, your goals, and where you are right now.

Sessions are £50 each. Not sure if it's right for you? Your first session can be a taster - a chance to experience the reformer and ask questions before committing further.

What is Reformer Pilates?

The reformer is a specially designed piece of Pilates equipment — a sliding carriage with springs, straps, and resistance that supports and challenges the body in ways a mat can't replicate.

The spring resistance adjusts to your strength and mobility, making it accessible for beginners and genuinely challenging for those with more experience.

The benefits of Reformer Pilates?

Regular reformer practice can lead to improved posture, increased core strength, greater flexibility, and reduced pain — particularly in the back, hips, and shoulders.

It's not just physical. Many clients notice improved body awareness and a calmer, more centred mind.

Because your session is entirely one-to-one, every movement and adjustment is tailored to you.

Where alignment therapy meets the reformer

Shahana's most comprehensive 1-1 treatment — combining the healing power of Alignment Therapy with the precision of Reformer Pilates in one seamless session. Designed for those dealing with persistent pain, restricted movement, or postural imbalance.

£70 per session

How the session works

Each session begins with deep massage to release tight muscles and prepare the body to move freely. Shahana then guides you onto the reformer, where alignment-focused movement deepens the work — engaging muscles more fully and supporting lasting postural change.

Who Is This For?

This treatment is ideal for those experiencing back, neck, or joint pain, restricted movement, postural imbalance, or tension that hasn't responded to other treatments.
